MBASON AI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Conformance Status
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
MBASON AI includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Press Tab to navigate, Enter or Space to activate, and Escape to close menus or dialogs.
- Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of each page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Screen Reader Support: Proper ARIA labels, roles, and live regions are used throughout the site to ensure compatibility with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
- Focus Management: Visible focus indicators are provided for keyboard users. Focus is trapped within modal dialogs and returned to trigger elements when closed.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Text Resizing: Content remains readable and functional when text is resized up to 200%.
- Reduced Motion: Animations are reduced or disabled for users who have enabled "Prefer reduced motion" in their operating system settings.
- Form Accessibility: All form fields include associated labels. Error messages are programmatically associated with their fields and announced to screen readers.
- Touch Targets: Interactive elements meet the minimum 44x44 pixel touch target size on mobile devices.
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements are used throughout.
- Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
- High Contrast Mode: The site supports Windows High Contrast Mode and forced-colors media queries.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. We are actively working to identify and resolve any issues. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party content or embedded tools may not fully meet accessibility standards.
- PDF documents generated by the platform are being improved for screen reader compatibility.
