Resume wording
"Committed" is a claim about your attitude, and nobody has ever put "uncommitted" on a resume, so it carries no information. It is also usually attached to a noun that is doing the real work.
These are not interchangeable. Picking the wrong one is how a bullet ends up claiming something you did not do, so the second column matters more than the first.
Before
Committed to improving team processes.
After
Owned the team retro process for 18 months, shipping 9 of the 12 changes the team voted for.
The verb is the smaller half of that change. What actually makes the second version work is the number, and no synonym can supply one for you.
Keep "committed" in the literal sense of committing resources or code: "committed $40k of budget to", "committed 200+ changes to the shared library".
Rewriting one bullet is easy. Rewriting forty against a specific job posting is the part people give up on. Tailor CV rewrites your resume against the posting you are actually applying to, and you edit what it gives back.
