Resume wording
"Thrives in a fast-paced environment" is candidate boilerplate that describes the employer, not you. It tells a recruiter nothing they can use to compare you against the next application.
These are not interchangeable. Picking the wrong one is how a bullet ends up claiming something you did not do, so the second column matters more than the first.
Before
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
After
Shipped weekly releases as the only engineer on a 3-product surface for 8 months.
The verb is the smaller half of that change. What actually makes the second version work is the number, and no synonym can supply one for you.
Keep it out of your resume entirely. It belongs in a cover letter at most, and even there a concrete example beats the phrase.
Rewriting one bullet is easy. Rewriting forty against a specific job posting is the part people give up on. Tailor CV rewrites your resume against the posting you are actually applying to, and you edit what it gives back.
